Re: Permanent Retainer is a PAIN! :(
No pictures as yet. But I might take some soon and get those up. I'm pretty happy with things as they are. Just one thing though. I HATE my permanent retainer. I thought my old Hawleys were bad in round one but this thing, ugh, I hate it. I'm not trying to put anyone off, it might work great for you...

Re: Permanent Retainer is a PAIN! :(
Hi tennesseeditto, In answer to your questions: Yes, I am used to it HOWEVER, I am still a it paranoid when I have to bit into food. Particularly foods where you have to rip into it with your teeth like a pizza slice or a sandwich and, for now, apples are a no no for me. But I am a worrier. I don't ...

Re: Permanent Retainer is a PAIN! :(
Hi Everyone :D So, I'm finally rid of my Inman Aligner since yesterday and my teeth are looking pretty good. My ortho fitted me with a bonded retainer on the top and told me how to clean it and stuff but not much else. He said there were no foods to avoid, even toffee pennies and such. But, it just ...

Re: Brushing at work?
I've started brushing at work since I got braced, keep unpleasant whiffs down. I generally have my whole bag with me after lunch, so I just stow it in there. But you could also pop it in a small, plastic lined make-up bag and just carry that down :D

Re: Inman aligners
Hi Straightteethplease, Mine personally, for just the top, were a little under £1,500. That included consultation, moulds, the brace and the fixed retainer after as well as all the appointments in between. This was from a dentist in Didcot, UK. Also, any tips for daily cleaning as I noticed today, I...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi guys, Thanks both of you for replying. I use my nails to and, aside from tearing them off the skin a bit, the aligner seems fine :) I'm glad its not just me because the dentist was trying to show me this "move the back bar and rotate it in" way which was a bit baffling. I'm glad there's...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi everyone :) I've been lurking on the board for a few days now and I have a few questions if that's okay with you fellow IA wearers out there. I got my IA on Tuesday and have been wearing it about 22+ hours a day since and I have to say I'm struggling, particularly at work. Speech is hard- its not...
