Re: Long Face/Adenoid Facies Syndrome - Desperate for Soluti
If you upload a pic I could tell my oppinion... Maybe you need an upper jaw impactation only, because when you cut off the upper jaw the lower jaw rotates counter clockwise and you will have a stronger jaw line and profile...But it deppends on the case. And I really can't say nothing without seeing ...

Re: Time off work for SARPE
It will deppends on the amount of swelling, It's not very nice to go outside with your face looking like a balloon. I took off 3 weeks, but with 2 weeks I think It's OK.

Re: Right jaw longer than left...
I have a bit similar issue (but is a long story mine). It could be good if you upload a pic of your bite or your lower face to appreciate really your case. In my case, after a lot of terrible braces treatment that not only not fixed my problem, but worsed it a lot, I ended up in the jaw surgery via....

Re: osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ)
Not yet. But I'm very confident with these treatment. I read a lot of information (I have a looong journey regarding to TMJ and occlusal issues) and definitely that's the most original, interesting and convincent treatment. You know, the man IS NOT a physician or orthodontist, he was a patient, and ...

Re: osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ)
I don't know but may be, reading that you are worse than before surgeries, it will help you.
This italian guy (he was a single patient of malocclusion as we are now) created a system with bites/splints to achieve a lot of problems including TMJ's.

Are you going to do any kind of updating thread or blog to follow your news?
I'm interested in your case. It sounds strange to get surgery without braces treatment. I think I need same surgery soon for my open bite. Do you have open bite?
Good luck.

any proved method to achieve skeletal open bite?
Hi. I had a malocclusion before I begun with braces, but not open bite at all. So, I had the bad luck of being in treatment with a ortho that attempted to improve my posterior cross bite with hyrax expander when I was 20 years old. The problem was that this did not work well (due the poor skills of ...

If you're still swollen maybe you might wait more time to see final results, I guess. Anything, post a pic to ilustrate us about real situation. Best of luck.

Any experiences on Mini-screws to fix anterior open bite?
Hi. I was searching but I didn't find nothing very actually in the forum about this topic. I have skeletal open bite and the idea is to fix it with surgery. Nevertheless, I was thinking about the miniscrew (skeletal anchorage) treatment as a possibility to intrude my molars to avoid surgery. If ther...

Re: Any experiences about titanium plates in upper jaw?
Thanks for your responses. Mr november: Do you know of someone who has the titanum plates removed after surgery? My surgeon told me that this is not an usual practice when I ask him about my doubt, and you can only do it until one year post-surgery because after that time there exist bone growing ov...

Any experiences about titanium plates in upper jaw?
Hi. I am supposed to get upper jaw surgery for open bite this year. I have a doubt about the metal screws and plates that will be to fix the jaw after surgery. Has anyone suffered any pain or anything bad with that titanium materials? I'm not pretty sure of like to have that in my face for all my li...

Re: SARPE Surgery
I was not working when recovery of the surgery, but i relate to your story. It's very embarrassing the gap. But I have one good thing to say about this: When you finish the expansion process, then the gap closes it self very quickly, until a point that it isn't very noticeable and is not a problema....
