Jake Gyllenhaal has an AMAZING smile ( as well as an amazing everything else ;) ) I just think the quality of his smile is so beautiful-- so innocent and childish, almost.

I also love Carrie Underwood's teeth. Very nicely shaped and so white.

Wow, GOOD question! Well, I know I am going out to lunch or dinner to celebrate ;) So, here are some things I may want to eat: BIG Asian salad from Applebees-- it has all the crispy seasame noodles, lettuce, nuts, etc that I am going to ENJOY! buffalo wings! God, how I miss those... a huge sun...

It's weird because a few people have told me they like my smile (this was before braces!) Now, I'm not sure they meant my teeth, but they liked the quality of my smile-- always said it was so warm and genuine. So, maybe teeth aren't so important after all if the smile is authentic 8) Still, my teeth...

Hmm, good question...I pretty much eat whatever I want, except for the really hard to chew things--such as biting in an apple head on, ribs, buffalo wings, hard candies. I don't chew gum either. However, I find I have to improvise with a lot of the foods I do eat. For example, if I do want an apple,...

bite turbo question

Hello doctors :D ,

I just got bite turbos plastered on the back of my front teeth about a month ago and was curious if they speed up treatment time. I read that on a website and was curious if it was true?

Thanks!

Re: bite changes

Step 1 (whether surgery or not) is the conversion of the deep bite to an increased overjet (i.e. buck teeth) : I've developed a tongue thrusting habit because of this overjet situation which worries me. Its like my tongue doesn't feel comfortable in any situation. It wants to push up against the fr...

When I first got my braces on ( I have ceramics on top, metal lowers ), I absolutely wanted to die-- I was so mortified about how they looked and I was afraid that everyone was going to notice them ( although their claim to fame is that they are virtually invisible....pfft ). However, as the wire st...

Hey, everyone! :-1 Morning: In the morning, I usually brush my teeth for about 2-3 minutes, depending on much of a rush I'm in ;) I'll admit, I don't floss at all  I really should, I know. I also get the roof of my mouth and my tongue so that no bacteria lingers and gives me foul morning breat...

Thank you, Dr Randall :D If they are trying to open your bite, then you are not in a finishing wire. Size of the wire is irrelavant as different orthodontists finish with different wire sizes. I can't tell you how long it will take to open the bite that really depends on your specific case and some ...

two questions for the docs

Hello Dr. Randall and Dr. J.! I actually have two questions on board for today 1.) How long does it take to open up a deep bite approximately? I don't think I am a severe case but the ortho just began working on opening my bite by using reverse curve wires and 2.) I have a size 18 by 22 Stainless st...

Listerine whitening mouthwash

Has anyone tried this stuff yet? I have and it seems to be making a slight difference. It makes my mouth extremely dry, though
