hi guys, what do you do to relieve the cheek pain from the elastics rubbing ? You cant put wax on elastics . I am due for elastics soon and after reading these posts am beginning to think its not going to be much fun

Hi tinc , when I went for my braces appointment , the ortho told me that he could see I had been grinding my teeth quite badly . this might sound a bit silly in view of the above posts .. but doesnt the ortho do the adjustments AND his hygienist do the cleaning ? All at the same place ? What is the reason for sending you back to the dentist for the cleaning ?
