Re: Inman aligners
Thanks nikki, I'm Really pleased just one wee tooth which is not perfect yet. It's amazing what they can do in such a small amount of time. I got mine for £995 but it was a groupon deal I got so that was quite lucky. I did ask how much they were without the deal and she said up to £1800 so it sounds...

Re: Inman aligners
Hello, awww that's horrible for u. My aligner never cut my gums or tongue but I have heard the wax helps with that. Your speech will improve although it probably won't completely go away, people In work say they don't notice it much anymore (I'm 12 weeks in) but I can still hear it. The pain will su...

Re: Inman aligners
Thats great, I'm glad your having such an easy time! I didn't need the expander first (must have a big enough mouth to start with lol). But iv heard people who have it normally don't need the actual aligned for quite as long? So that's good. Can't figure out how to put pics on here so I'll email the...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi Nikki, there Is some way of posting the pics on here. Not sure how though, if not I'll email them. Hi Rolotree. A retainer is worn after the brace to hold your teeth in position. You can have either a thin metal wire permanently bonded to the back of your teeth or a plastic gumshield which you ne...

Re: Inman aligners
I'd say I probably started to see a bit of movement at the 2 week stage but I could feel a tiny difference when running my tongue along my teeth after about a week. I think it all just depends on how quick your teeth move. Do u think you'll manage to wear it 20hrs a day? Iv tried to stick to that as...

Re: Inman aligners
Hello...what clinic in Glasgow are u going to? I'm also in Glasgow at kalyani dental lounge. I have my 11 week appointment tonight and hopefully will be done soon. Re: Inman aligners
Just giving an update...had my 9 week check up on wed and the dentist says iv not got long to go now. Im at the stage now where I can't wait to be done. I'm fed up having the aligner in my mouth and although my speech is a lot better than it was to start with, it's still not sounding normal which is...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi crooked teeth, im only 7 weeks in but I know if I get the clear aligner at the end I'll need to pay extra too :( Hi Lisa, that's great. I think my case sounds very similar to yours. I'm 7 weeks in and can see a huge difference, hopefully I'll be done at 10 weeks too but iv got one tooth that need...

Re: Inman aligners
Hello, I had to have 4 of the little lumps (I think they are called composites) 2 behind my front teeth and 2 in front of the teeth next to my front teeth. I was very paranoid about them too but have been to a few nights out now without my aligner and people don't notice. Even when I point them out ...

Hello just a quick update. I will have had my Inman aligned 4 weeks timorrow and can't believe the change in my teeth already. They aren't actually too far off the end position although there is one annoying tooth that needs to be rotated but is also moving very slowly. Very pleased so far!! Hope it...

Re: Inman aligners
Also I got the groupon deal (I'm in Glasgow though) and it cost me £995. This included the consultation, Inman aligner brace, regular dental visits and filing of teeth and the retainer at the end. An expander would have cost extra but I didn't need it, she said the cost wasn't much though. I also ha...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi totally twisted, my dentist has told me different. She says to try and wear it for 20 hours a day, apparently there's no benefit to wearing it for longer than 20 Hrs and it can be bad for the roots of the teeth if done too often. She also says if I don't manage the twenty hours on a one off occas...
