My daughter will be braced in about 8-10 weeks. I was braced almost a month ago. I was handed down a 6 month longer sentence than she and my bill is $1000 more than hers ($500 of that was for the ceramic brackets though).

I have a power chain across the top front six teeth, went from a .14 NiTi to a .18 NiTi and have no pain or discomfort. In fact, my teeth are nowhere near as sensitive as they were the first three weeks. Why? I had braces about 18 years ago and I remember being sore fore a few days after.
