Post-Op, Small bumps on lips??? (Fordyce spots)

I'm approaching the 3rd month mark, since the surgery. I've read threads on "post-op oily skin & acne" and did experience some slight acne. I also had severe chapped lips for about 2 months & now I have these tiny bumps all over my lips. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how...

Re: Tongue Numbness How long?

I'm almost 3 months post-op. My tongue had a numbing sensation for about 2 months. Might be a shorter period for you. Mine lasted a bit longer, due to one of my brackets shifting and irritating my tongue.

Re: August 2013 Buddies

I've also been experiencing nightmares  :smoken: :yikes: :rawk:  One of my brackets on the back molars, has slightly moved & has been causing pain on the left side of my tongue. I can't wait for my next apt (Wedneday) so they can remove the elastics and adjust my bracket. My jaw pop...

Re: August 2013 Buddies

1 Week Post Op: My surgeon was surprised by how quickly my swelling has reduced. He even removed my splint (super stoked). I can talk and drink more freely now.

Looking forward to my 2 week apt, so they can remove my elastic bands!

Re: August 2013 Buddies

Good Luck Changes! RS - I am also having problems speaking and swallowing because I have a splint attached to the bottom of my top teeth. I had my top palate expanded. I went to the doctor today and he said I would have the splint for another two weeks, until I reminded him that I start work 9/3. I...

Re: August 2013 Buddies

[quote="SueHeck"]I am having surgery August 15! One week! I have an open bite that resulted in neck and shoulder pain for over 20 years. I didn't think it was related to my jaw until I got braces and the pain was reduced drastically. I also require the surgery to keep my back molar...

Re: Anyone who has Kaiser (please help)

How do deductible plans work? Before I go to a office visit, I must pay the $1500 deductible?

Thanks for your help.

Anyone who has Kaiser (please help)

I am so confused after speaking to 2 separate reps. I was quoted nearly $400 per month for a co-pay 25 plan. I will be starting school this spring and doubt I would be able to afford that plan comfortably. Could someone please let me know, what plan you have. I don't go to the Dr's often, are the de...
