It's nice to know I am not the only one. We were very poor growing up and couldn't afford regular dental care let alone ortho so at 29, I am playing catch up. It's nice to know its not to late to have a beautiful smile.

It seems like a very useful procedure but the thought of having my teeth filed gives me the shivers. Like nails on a chalkboard.

My first consult is coming up and I am a little nervous about the cost as well. It seems to vary a lot.

My first consult is coming up and I'm extremely nervous. I hate poking and prodding and I have a silly fear that the dr might say "Wow, what a mess. I can't help you. Pull them all and get dentures!" even though I know my teeth aren't that bad.

I had a lot of stomach problems when I was younger and I threw up pretty regularly. That's mostly cleared up but I still have terrible acid reflux. Unfortunately, it has caused a lot of erosion and damage to my teeth. You can see areas on my teeth where the enamel has worn away, but luckily it seems...

I haven't gotten my braces yet but I would hate the idea of giving up coffee to avoid stains. I hope cleaning thoroughly afterward will do the trick.
