Sorry it took me so long to post pics.. I not a big pic taker lol..

Today is the day I'm supposed to get braces put on... BUT I woke up this morning with a cold! I nose is stuffy and runny at the same time UGH What do I do!?

I think it really depends on the orthodontist. I only say that because they put my braces on and skipped the tooth that needed the band. They put in spacers and a week later I went in. They took the spacers out, took the wire out and put a band on that looks like it already had the bracket attached...

Kitsune- I loooved the blue ligs on your earlier braces pic. I get mine on thursday and I think I'm going to go with a darker blue.. I have read that it would make my teeth appear more white.. I must say reading these threads has got me wanting to get an electric tooth brush before Brace day! I do have a water pik though courtesy of my husband for CHRISTmas!

Forgot to mention that I had left over vicodin from the lovely teeth pulling session last month.. those seemed to help the pain some right before eating..

I'm sitting here with spacers on myself.. the first day was fine.. the next day was awful and just seemed to get worse.. Im going on my 4th day and was so hungry today I couldn't stand myself lol... I did manage some scrambled eggs( the best eggs I've ever eaten) and chili.. Awesome combo right lol....

Yes isn't it crazy how gungho ppl can be about breaking another persons face! lol.. I get them on the 9th and I must say this has been the slowest week EVER! I mean i have these horrible spacers in so I can't eat much anyways.. Bring On the METAL MOUTH!
