Re: Non-Compliant but still effective?

I'm actually quite relieved to read this. I've been really anal about leaving them out up until now and convinced myself that they wouldn't work if out more than a couple of hours! Maybe I will relax a bit more now  I'm not sure of any possible long term effects from having them out so long tho...

Re: I no longer trust my dentist...

That doesn't sound good at all, can imagine your appointments are becoming quite a daunting experience... Could you change dentists at all? Depending on how much you have already paid/how far along treatment is etc. you may be able to ask for another dentist either at the same surgery or a completel...

Re: waiting to brush VS time out of aligners

I had the same concerns, I feel like I am over brushing my teeth sometimes. I'm not prepared to wait an extra 30 mins after eating, so I just lightly brush after every meal with a pea-sized amount of toothpaste just to get any remaining food out of my teeth. Mainly concentrating on the molars and on...

Re: Just received my first tray - the jury is out!

I feel exactly the same! I have had my first tray in for almost a week now and still cannot get used to it. I feel quite disheartened when I think about the year ahead (25 trays). I wasn't aware of the refinement either and I am really nervous I may have to have it! I'm a singer too and had my first...

OUCH! Invisalign "buttons" slicing my mouth to shreds!

Hi guys, I've been wearing my first set of aligners for 5 days now and I can't get to grips with these horrible "buttons" on my teeth. I have six on lower and 3 upper but they are so sharp (not to mention very visible! :( ). When my aligners are out and I'm eating they violently slice into...

Re: Invisaligh in Manchester UK

I've just started my first week of Invisalign aligners and the whole process from the consultation to now has only taken a few weeks, I've been really impressed with the speed of Invisalign so I don't think that should effect your decision. The only thing I don't like are the buttons on my teeth, I'...
