Chains

Today was my first tightening and they put chains on my bottom teeth. Have any of you had chains and if so do they speed up the movement of the teeth? I have provided photos to this post.

Teeth Feel Loose

I called my orthodontist to make sure that it was normal for a couple of my front teeth to feel loose and they said it was cause my teeth are moving. I just wanted to know how does it feel for you all? I just got my braces on yesterday. I don't want me teeth falling out.

Re: Got my braces in today

Thank you all!! I ate some eggs and bacon for dinner last night and I had a hard time with the bacon. My front bottom teeth are the most sensitive right now. I am taking 800 mg ibreprofin (not sure if I spelled that right) I gargled with salt water last night so that my mouth can get tough so I won'...

Got my braces in today

I got my braces in this morning and thought it would take about two hours and it only took a little less than an hour. There was not pain and I am doing fine right now. No pain right now and hope it stays that way lol. I am at work right now and I am starving. I can't wait for 6 O'Clock to get here ...

Re: what's the cost of your braces?

1. Where are you located? Phoenix, AZ 2. How much are you paying for your braces? The price is $4,990 but after insurance paid its part and the discount was applied I will be paying $3,240 3. What kind of braces do you have? Clear on top and metal on bottom 4. What is your estimated time in braces? ...

Hello Maeby

When are you getting your braces? I also have three kids and I think one or two of them will need braces in the future. I'm hoping not but my three year old daughter keeps sucking her thumb. I think I can stay away from those foods. Maybe I will lose about ten pounds by having braces lol.

Re: Lower Front Tooth Extraction for Braces

After I get my braces put on, on Monday I will get my front tooth at the bottom removed so that one of my other tooths can have room to move into place. I was told the same thing by other orthodontists as well.
