I had the surgery and this time it was much easier and less painful but it seems like my tooth isn't moving I am really worried because i still have this ugly gap and im not seeing any progress with the movement with the impacted canine its like its just staying in place. and its been 2 months now!!!

It depends on your situation. For me I had my surgery 1 year ago and I'm still no where close to getting my braces off. but what kind of surgery did you have was it for a impacted canine or an under bite? mines was for the impacted canine.

Well whenever you do have the surgery its going to be really painful! Your conscious the whole time and for me they kept giving me shots to numb my gums.
