I hope people don't notice them. I just got mine on on Friday. I definitely notice that the braces are changing the way I talk and my lips puff out a lot more.

Not at all. I'm glad that I have them because it means that I am working toward my goal of having a great smile. But it makes me self conscious because I already have a "baby face." Now I feel that no one will take me seriously at all.

I had invisalign from ages 15-19, and now I just got regular braces (ceramic upper, metal lowers) at 25. After two refinements invisalign did not close all of my gaps.

I'm 24 too and just got braces on through the local university's dental school too! I'm about to post my story in a little bit, but I just wanted to say that you aren't alone!
