Hi all... I am 4 days post op! I survived the first of 2 surgeries! I had a SARPE and partial Le Forte. My face is swollen but surprisingly not bruised. Sleeping lots.. A few complications with the drugs, but I think I have it under control now. Good luck to all of you heading to surgery this week! ...

Hi Mike... I am 55 and am 4 days post op! Right now my face HURTS! But I am told I am healing well:) I had a SARPE and a partial le Forte .... Oh too groggy to remember the whole name! 48 hours to go
48 hours til go time!! Today I see Dr Edwards for final pre op instructions then tomorrow my OD for the expander insertion ! Wednesday 8 am hospital admission. Not sure exactly when the surgery is but in the am!!! Gulp

Ha ha !!! You are never too old! I am 55 and having top and bottom surgeries and braces!!! Hopefully by 60 I will be done you gotta do what ya gotta do!!!!
