Worst week I have had so far. horrible pain waking me up. Most likely from me grinding my teeth. The worst part was that I had my first kidney stone and it is as bad as they say.

I do have some extreme dizziness when i lay down and get up. Anyone have that problem?

Thanks Cass. Its good to know the gum line will return. Today was the worst day I have had. I think I was grinding my teeth at night and when i woke up the top teeth were hurting and felt very tight.

You should not even be asking this question. Of course you go to the other surgeon. After all its only a 3 hour drive. Hell I did that every weekend when in was in college. I just got finished with having sarpe surgery and my OS said in a year i'll get the Le fort I to fix my underbid. I was wondering if anyone had both of these surgeries and could tell me how much worse upper jaw surgery is compared to sarpe.

is it similar or notciably more uncomfortable?

Just got back from the hospital. I have minor numbness on my right side, but a lot of numbness on the left.

My jaw hurts when i try to open it and I can't open it all the way yet.

Can anyone tell me when I can open my mouth all the way and when the tooth numbness will get better? Thanks.

Leave for the hospital in 3 1/2 hours and i can't sleep. I guess i'll sleep enough during the day. I'm just worried about the nose bleeds and swelling.
