Hi I am getting ceramic braces in 4 weeks on my top teeth after my bottom braces are fitted next week I have a 9 mm overbite and am wondering once I have my braces fitted will I find it difficult to talk or close my mouth? I already don't comfortably close my mouth so I would guess it would be harde...

Can you just ask for different colours on the day or do you have to prepare the visit before ?

I am sure if you handed the nurse the camera and did your recording you could edit it later when you got home and store it to share at a later date

How are you getting on ?
I start mine later this month - I am 48 and my biggest fear is not being able to speak ! I am in so many meetings at work it will be a right pain if I have to keep cleaning off the spit from my desk as I talk hr after hr !

I start this week and get my bands on - my ortho wants to do my bottom braces and then wait 4 weeks to have my top ones fitted even though I was keen to get it all done at the same time ... not sure why but maybe it will help with the pain ! :-)

I am starting my journey next week ! I have a 9mm overbite and without having surgery my dentist said she could get it down to about 4 with elastics ! I am happy with that as at 48 i dont feel I want to do the surgery
