I guess I'm just thinking of the "surgical planning cost" its about $6,000 for mine. Which is alott i think.

I agree! I liked it at first, but then after awhile of using it; it would get caught in my braces and I'd have little threads in my brackets..

wow. I cant beleive hes making you pay for the extra months!
My ortho gave me a 24month fee and if it goes longer then expected he pays the rest.

I've had four teeth pulled and only a month in braces. I was hoping my extraction sites would close up in the next few months but it sounds like it takes alot longer then that!

Oh also.. I live in Canada and jaw surg is NOT free. you have to pay 100%. Unless you have a good healthplan with your employment.

I'm just using a payment plan,
I saved up the down payment of $1100
then from now on I give about $190 per month, for 24 months!
