That's what I thought too. I plan on asking my ortho on my next visit. Which is actually going to be next week as I have to travel and will mess up my adjustment schedule.
Hopefully I can convince him to move the bracket.

Time sure passes fast when we're having fun.

The end of my powerchain was irritating me and I tried what you plan on doing - ended up snapping the power chain off the last bracket. Would recommend wax or a return the doc to do the trim.

Dee, I know that the dentist said my teeth would continue to spread and the gaps would widen as I got older if I didn't get it fixed. I have read quite a few stories on this forum and seen some amazing work done as the pictures progressed. The only concern with braces is the financial impact it has....

I've developed a longer front tooth as well, but it's my left tooth. The doc gave me some spiel that this tooth was weaker than the rest and thus has moved the most. My friends call me snagglepuss now. I hope this sorts out a I do not want to shave the edges.

Your teeth look fabulous. In one of your posts you made the statement that your 2 upper front teeth aren't the same length. It's really not noticeable in your pix. How does your doc intend to correct that? I've developed a longer tooth and I'm really worried.

Thanks Elizabeth I've gone back to the purple power chains, adding to the pressure he's put an extra power chain across the two front teeth. OK, I got a problem - the power chain connecting to my last bracket broke - I trimmed off the edge, will this be a problem ?? My next appointment is in 4 weeks...

Why is it that the week before your adjustment appointment your teeth start misbehaving? My front teeth ache.
