Don't be nervous at all. It takes some gettin used to but not bad at all. Mine were sore for a couple of days but after that its been good. Just be prepared for a couple days of soft food and you'll be fine

Well yesterday was the big day and I am finally braced. I got 3m clarity brackets on the top and bottom with a white wire on the top. This is my first time ever with braces and at this point isnt bad at all, no pain, canker sores, etc. I'm sure there will be more fun to come in the future. The worst...

The discomfort is only temporary. Mine go on Tuesday I'm sure ill be in the same boat. Hope everything is going well for you. Good luck on your journey!

I'm very jealous. I'm ready to be done with the spacers and actually moving toward a great smile. Good luck tomorrow and keep us posted!!

Well today is day 4 with them and still no solid foods yet. I just keep hoping that this isn't the case once I actually get the braces. This is gonna be a long 18 months if so.......

Ok made my second trip to the ortho today to replace the broken spacer and they replaced it with a metal one. The metal one prevents me from biting together. I didn't think that the rubber spacers were going to be bad, but the metal one is goin to cause 10 days of hell..... Come on January 29th!!!!!

Well spacers are in. Problem is an hour out of the office and one broke. It is still between the teeth? But not over the top'. Do I need to go have it replaced???

I'm getting my spacers in the morning. I am nervous about it. It just means I'm that much closer to being braced! I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. 10 days till brace face!!!

Dont let your self esteem get down at all, you are beautiful. I am inching ever closer to my brace date, and love watching your videos on youtube and hearing how things are going. Good luck with the bottoms comin up.
