Got them at 25.. that is 2 months back.

12 months metal braces, 6 months retainers. 2 months 9 days completed.

Not taking pictures regularly. Should do that. I do like to know what's happening. Have learned so many terms from the forum here. Told my ortho about it(archwired). He said not to get too involved in getting so much information. I'll get confused and confuse him as well.

My update: Had my second adjustment on 11th October. Got Power chains. The ortho said that would help to close the extraction gap. Next adjustment after 2 months. I agree Metal Mickey. Its because there's a tooth missing on one side which makes the wobbly thing more scary. Hope your adjustment goes well.

The bands were actually white and they got stained. In the picture they are looking more yellow than what they actually look like. Indian food like curries (anything which has turmeric) stain the ligs.

Its been a month since I got braces. I can see the difference. The teeth were set too tight and were also overlapping. Now I can see the improvement. Don't worry.. Be patient. You too will start noticing the changes soon.

So today was my first adjustment. It hurt a bit. I feel the teeth are moving so now every now and then there's some pain in some tooth or the other. The upper front 2 teeth are the worst offenders.
