I've had mine for almost 16 mos. and they are showing a significant amount of wear, on one side. At my last check (in October), she indicated that this was pretty normal, and not to worry unless I started to see vertical cracks. I am guessing that they will replace them, when I go back, next month, ...

Dodger - you crack me up!

I looked at these a couple of months ago, but really wanted something to sleep in. Is there any explanation of why you aren't supposed to wear them while you sleep?

I use the silicon "wax" - no taste at all, and it doesn't crumble like the other stuff.
