Hi! I have been having my braces for about 4 months now. I saw major changes the first month, but now it has been slow and steady. I may see faster changes, this month, because I got a thicker wire on my last adjustment.

Wow, don't know what's been going on with the forum, but I haven't been able to log on since September.
I had my 4th adjustment on Wednesday. I got new wires, and ohhhhhh boy, my mouth is very sore. I am seeing great progress, and can't wait until I am done!!! Well I will post pics later on today.

I had my second adjustment today. I was suppose to go Wednesday, but I forgot about a meeting at work so they fit me in today. No major changes or movement. I have the same wires and new ligs. This time I got burgundy ligs. I think Im going to try a new color every month, until I have had them all.....

I received the Oral B professional care electric toothbrush, wax, floss, floss threaders, travel tooth brush, toothpaste, mouthwash, and the little dental brushes.

Wow, you have such an amazing story!! I am happy that you are overcoming your fears. It is a slow but steady progress, and you are doing great. .

Hi Kimmie I love the colors! All this brace lingo is kinda new so, sorry, I can't help with the 1x3 question.
I've only had gray and black as colors for my lig's. I may venture out to more colors... might as well have fun with them since I will have them awhile!

do you have to have a power chain on in any point in your treatment and did you have extractions beforehand? sorry for all the questions lol. I will probably need a power chain once my bottom teeth are a little closer together. I did have 2 teeth extracted at the top ( one on each side) a long time...

Yes, I can definitely see changes! . Before I got braces put on when I smile, you couldn't even see the bottom teeth because they protruded so much. Now you can at least see that I have bottom teeth when I smile.

Hello khaymie78! Welcome to this forum, will be good seeing how you go on. You had your braces on 3 days before me haha, however you've already had your first adjustment, mine isn't till the 1st of November despite having braces on in August! Keep us posted on your journey!
