Thanks for the support KreyFL & denSMSgt! I do know from looking at my teeth now, that I am so much happier than I was a week ago, before the ortho did the second IPR. It just looks so much better without the black triangles at the gumline. Having said that, if I had asked for the 2nd IPR months...

Luckily, my ortho is really nice and says that I should be happy with everything before the braces are removed. I just hope that I will be happy with everything ASAP! 26 months has been way too long already. Good luck to you too!

Yes, it happened after the attempt to re-angle the canine. When he asks his assistant for powerchains, he usually says the number of brackets, followed by "open" or "close". I heard him ask her for the "12-open" this time- so I guess that may be why my teeth are spacing...
