I'm scheduled to have impressions done again on Feb 28th and then braced the next day, March 1st.

Yea surprises indeed, I thought I'd have my braces a long time ago, but it seems to be taking forever, it's my right molars that are taking their time in moving. With all this waiting, I'll be very glad when I am braced. My TPA needs some company lol.

Well I was surprised, for the appointment the ortho checked to see if I had enough space to get my upper braces on and that was a "no, but almost there though" so he said he's giving it another month, so I'll be going back again Feb 28th and March 1st. HOPEFULLY there is enough room!!!

I have an appointment with my ortho on Wednesday and Thursday. I think I'm going to be braced then, but I was wondering why they would be two appointments. So far all I've had were spacers, then I got the TPA and brackets or is it bands? they use sectionals on my molars to move them back to make spa...

Well I must say I had no idea they went to all the trouble to make the models look like that in magazines. Growing up I didn't want to look like them and the pressure wasnt that great on looks. I'm 21 btw. But those images were something!

Hey I'm getting braces about the same time as you ErinABerens in three or four days, metal as well. I'm getting my uppers first unless the ortho decides to change his mind and do upper and lower...I have 2 appointments wednesday and thursday..why would I need two appointments? Anyone have an idea?

Well one of my molars were out of line and I was given a TPA to correct that.

wow 7, mine was more annoying than anything, I was miserable for about 3 days.

I found this topic really helpful as I think I'll be getting my braces either next Wednesday or Thursday...I have appointments on both those days so I don't know what will actually be happening.
