After a few days. My wires were quite bent at first to bring my eye teeth down. I looked in the mirror one night & the wires were straight. thought it was my mind playing tricks on me.

Definitely worth the $$. My teeth & gums are in better shape then before I had the braces put on. I've used a waterpik since the 2nd of being braced.

Went for my usual 6 week check yesterday & had some xrays done. Xray showed all my roots are in line. Next step in treatment-brackets on all 4 of my back molars. Was not expecting that. Completely agree with the above post. I have 1-2 teas a day, and I drink through a straw. I find drinking all liquids easier that way, always dribbling if I don't. No brackets on my molars either. I have about 8 months left of treatment.

I've noticed this as well. It's not happening every night but I do notice a couple of times a week that I wake up with my teeth clenched together. Never noticed that I did that before braces.

Glad to hear that there are others like me. My ortho & his team are awesome & I'm sure if I piped up & asked questions they would answer them. I never thought about how much time they spend with kids, I'm sure not too many of them ask about whats going on. Almost at my 7 month mark! Wendy
