I don't know what is the practice over at your country, but for me, I talk to the receptionist when I have tons of questions as I started getting really worried. Find so...

Re: Uneven sides, ortho tells me it's normal
Hi there! I hope I can help you out. I had the same problem too. now my arch curve out nicely. The uneven curve is caused by your archwire is attached up till the 1st molars. The archwire applied force till the 1st molars causing the teeth to curve in, up till the 1st molars where your archwire ends...

Maxillary lateral incisor is bigger than the other...
I am just wondering how common is that? Anyone here has one tooth that is OBVIOUSLY bigger or smaller than its "twin" (I know that no two teeth can be exactly of the same size and this is part of nature). Example... Maxillary right incisor looks bigger than the maxillary left incisor... My...

Re: Are braces adjustments that painful??
I have very crowded teeth. When my ortho tried a thick wire, it was when my ortho decided to move my loner top tooth on at the back of my central incisor to the front. It was hell. My bottoms are still quite crooked. maybe the level of pain in changing archwire is dependable on the crowd of the teet...

Re: Did everyone say your teeth looked fine...
Most of my friends said that my teeth looked fine. They were either trying to be nice or they are quite blind. Even when I just got my braces put on, they asked me why I have braces. But when I was a kid, my dentist asked me to go to an orthodontist but I was too afraid. My top teeth were protruding...

Re: What was your first meal/food after braces?
Kentucky Fried Chicken.
It was very late at night when I got hungry and decided to have my dinner. There was nothing available except KFC.
Worst. They don't have mashed potato.
I used my unbracketed second molars to chew on the meat. Pity me.
