Hi daveyboy (and everyone else!), I've had upper and lower linguals for 5 days now here's how i've found them: Firstly I also have a narrow arch/small mouth and lingual's were an only option for me. Within 2 minutes of having the lowers fitted my tongue caught the end arch wire so that wasn't a good...

Thanks for the feedback dkt3 your experience so far seems a pretty good one, I am about 70% sure to get them now, but I'm just thinking if the speech problems will be considerably worse for me (having an already narrow bite) then I won't get them done. Thanks mb you've been very helpful and made some good points :) . I may try and find a closer Orth that uses Ormco's and I never realised about the wire being the most important factor with speech problems, I just assumed smaller brackets with Lingualcare would make it slightly easier for my tongue ...

Cheers AG, closest for me looks to be about an 11 hour round trip by car :( but it will be worth it I guess.

Any estimates of Ormco lingual costs AND Lingualcare costs anyone :?:

Just so I have an idea and whether I can afford it

Can anyone tell me if there are any Ortho's that offer this treatment in UK, preferrably the North of England? Wh...
