im 4 days post op and feel exactly the same! like i need to cough stuff up but cant cos wired together! throat is same as you too!! kills when you cought too dont it?

well i got out today from lower jaw surgery and my bag consisted of pj's x2 dressing gown, book, mags, vasaline was a saviour for sore lips after surgery ( my lips still really sore) and dry shampoo from boots meant i didnt need to wash my hair and it still looked fresh after 4 days in hosp??? a mir...

well thats me done and dusted pretty swollen and pretty sore but im at the other side of it all now and for anyone who is getting thia done it aint as bad ( bad enough ) but it aint as bad as i thought it would be xx

thanks obviously you have been through this too... did you have top and bottom done? so when you wake up can you feel pain ? can you talk ? does it feel like you have a major headache ( cant bear a headache )xx

hi havent been on in ages, well a week today i get my overbite corrected and to be honest im really scared i'm dreading waking up and not being able to handle the pain of it all! its good to read peoples stories on line as in "real life" i dont know anyone who was had this kind of thing do...

hi wonder if you can help me, i have found out that i am pregnant and i am 8 months into my treatment and am due for jaw surgery within the next 6 months can you tell me in general what will happen can i still have surgery whilst pregnant? dont want to ask my otho just yet as i have had a few unsuce...

honest the spacers hurt more than the braces the metals are a doddle honest you'll be fine!!! worst par form me was the spacers i regretted the whole thing while the spacers were on i was thinking that i coulnt put up with this for 18 months but braces are easy peesy good luck huni xx

hi ya good luck with your journey ive just hit my 6 month target 12 months to go for me whooppeee! honest it gets better try and put up with spacers i pulled one of mine off too early and ive got to go back and have one on again which is delaying my bottom braces going on by 2 weeks but hey 2 weeks ...
