1. Where are you located? Arizona
2. How much are you paying for your braces? $1350 then a $250 discount for scheduling that day, ended up being $1100
3. What kind of braces do you have? Regular metal on top and bottom
4. What is your estimated time in braces? 6 months (hopefully)

Well I got my braces on yesterday (tops only, bottoms in February), so far so good, no pain just alittle tenderness, hopefully it continues like this I would assume if I don't have pain the day after I won't develope any, or is that wishful thinking?

Yes, most people I tell that I am getting braces don't understand why. I have fairly straight teeth, but I hate the gap between my front teeth. And by the way I am getting it for me not everyone else :)

Maybe try a Waterpik, I will be getting my braces on Monday and that is what I got because I knew I wouldn't floss correctly so I figured a Waterpik would do the trick.
