Yes
That is exactly what I'm talking about. Basically a hook ridged into the bracket vs a metal wire tie connected to that bracket.

Previously in treatment they were needed to bring my #11 canine down. Now they are used to align my bite.

Elastics on Canines to Molars -- Canine Wire Tie or Bracket?
I have elastics connected from my canine teeth to my second to back molars and I was wondering if I should use the canine tooth bracket instead of the metal wire tie that is attached to the bracket. Has anyone noticed any difference in effectiveness? My ortho didn't seem to have a particular prefere...

elastics = end?
I haven't had to use elastics before but I was curious to know if getting elastics is typically at the end of treatment? my teeth are pretty much straight for the most part even though i've only had my braces for 11 months. I have the heavy elastics connecting my canines to molars.

Elastic Use
Is elastic use, provided I haven't needed them before, typical towards an end of treatment period?

Elastics -- End of Treatment?
I have had my braces since November 4th, 2004 and was originally set for a 24 month max situation because I required a #11 canine exposure and had some minor crowding. I had the exposure in March and things have been going GREAT. The tooth has basically come all the way down and, it's funny because ...

Wire Issue
I didn't realize I had sunflower seeds in my food and one of them got snagged under my furthest back molar, barely pulling out my wire and bending it. I went to the bathroom and popped it back in. Should this be OK or should I consult my ortho? -M PS - I know this sounds really goofy but I haven't h...
