Re: Confused - Advice Needed

Thank you KennyAndrew85 for your opinion. I agree, the orthodontist I visited yesterday made me question the two other opinions. I scheduled a second consult with one of the orthodontists so hopefully I can get started.

Thanks again, I just want to be sure of things considering the costs.

Confused - Advice Needed

I had my third consultation yesterday and I was told that I would be a candidate for Invisalign. Two orthodontists suggest bringing the teeth beside my front two down. Re: Starting New Year with Braces

[quote="hai"]I just turned 29 myself (feels weird seeing me write that) and had my braces put on six weeks ago. Everyone told me I didn't need them and they didn't notice my teeth but it was a voice in mind that hasn't gone away since I was 14. So I knew I had to do it. 15 months is nothin...

Re: Starting New Year with Braces

Thanks everyone for the advice. I have told a few people that I will likely get braces in January and all responses have been so negative. I do not have a terrible smile but it is far from perfect. I am self conscious about it and have been since I was younger. I want braces to improve my smile befo...

Re: Starting New Year with Braces

Thanks everyone. Do you have a problem with the clear brackets or bands staining? Were you told that they are weaker than the metal brackets? I think I am leaning toward the older dentist because he seems willing to work with me. Although the other office is very nice and he does good work I felt ru...

Starting New Year with Braces

Hi everyone. I am 29 and I am seriously considering getting braces in January. I have had 2 consultations and having a hard time deciding between orthodontists. One is an older orthodontist and very nice small antique like office, the other is younger and has a lot of kid/teenager clients and huge/t...
