Re: 6 Month Smiles done in 4 1/2 months - PICTURES!

My 'overjet' is around 1-2mm - I'm smiling slightly open mouthed so it's easier to see the results. I get this is a resource. And I feel my opinions to be valid as much as anyone else's on here even if I do allow myself to be excited and playful in how I put my opinion across. We're all getting brac...

Re: 6 Month Smiles done in 4 1/2 months - PICTURES!

Please may I refer you back to my first reply of this ilk. I'm having a laugh... People on here aren't stupid so are capable enough to figure out for themselves that what I'm saying is just one persons experience. There's nothing wrong with me making a sweeping statement in a light hearted way to ex...

Re: 6 Month Smiles done in 4 1/2 months - PICTURES!

I had 4 wisdom teeth out prior to my treatment. I think extra teeth out would be unnecessary in my case as I would have been left with only 3 molars each side at the top. I know they're not perfect but I'm not looking for a Hollywood smile. I'd rather have nice natural looking teeth. I find overly p...

Re: 6 Month Smiles done in 4 1/2 months - PICTURES!

Thanks guys I'm very pleased with the amount of change in such a short time. They're straight whilst still looking natural :) The retainer needs to stay on for as long as possible every day. It has to come out when I eat or drink anything other than water. It's surprisingly comfortable too. It might...

Jeez take it with a pinch of salt - it's obvious they're not the cure for everything I'm just being light heartedly over the top. I'm not a moron and nor is anyone else who reads this.

6 Month Smiles done in 4 1/2 months - PICTURES!

All other braces just shouldn't be used any more - 6MS are ridiculously good and quick. DEFINITELY worth the extra money.

Re: Six Month Smile Brace Just Fitted

Hi sorry I wouldn't be able to say as I don't smoke but even with my diet (no tea, coffee, smoking, red wine etc) they still stain a bit but you are allowed to ask the orthodontist to change the bands every 2 weeks or whenever they can fit you in if you want to as you are paying for them after all!

Re: Hi there, question about Ceramic and Lingual Braces

Hey guys I'm 6-8 weeks off the end of my 6MS treatment I paid £3175 in Kingston Upon Thames (South London) for upper and lower, regular check ups, retainers, contouring and whitening included in the price. I know they're a bit more expensive than some other options but TRUST ME when I tell you that ...

COMFORT COVERS!!!!!!!! http://www.dentakit.com/cocoforbr.html They saved me after an agonising first month!! I put them in at night, whenever I was alone like driving or chilling on the sofa or whatever because they're too bulky when put over your braces to be seen in public with but they were an ab...

6 Month Smiles half way pics

For those of you who are suffering with pre brace nerves or just generally suffering in the first few days and weeks here's a little light from the end of my person tunnel. I'm just over three months in and I've hated every minute of it but I'm so over the moon about the results I've had in such a s...

Re: Peppy's 6 Month Smiles story

Thanks Peppy, I am very pleased with how far they've come along and I'm totally over the moon about being over half way now! Just another 2 1/2 months :D The first time I actually noticed an obvious change was at the end of the first month. There's some pictures on my blog showing day one and day 33...

Re: Peppy's 6 Month Smiles story

Hi everyone! It's good to see other people tracking their progress with 6 month smiles. I got mine on back in November and could only find one other blog with hardly any pictures so I figured I'd start one for other people to look at for information in the future. You can find it at: http://my6month...

Re: Hello everyone! I got my Six Month Smiles!

Hi Duendecilla and everyone in the process! I got my 6 month smiles fitted in November and they're due off in May. I've been recording my progress with an open blog (pictures included) so other people can see what to expect in terms of movement or anything I've come up against and a couple of things...
