Since Monday (brace day), my diet has consisted mainly of soup, pudding, and mashed potatoes. I tried pieces of a chicken tender tonight but ended up getting my cheek stuck on a hook while trying to chew!!! Ouch!! I'm sorry you're in pain anarchy45 but at least we can all commiserate!

Welcome!! I am getting braced tomorrow! I have had spacers for 2 1/2 weeks and am glad they will be gone tomorrow. The pain does subside so hang in there! :D

Well I will officially be braced in 12 hours! I'm set for food and supplies. I know to take Tylenol before I go and to eat when I'm finished before any pain might set it. I am also going to layer on some Chapstick before I go.

Any other last minute advice??

I was told 24-30 months but my ortho is hoping to keep me to 24 months. I get braced on Monday, Jan. 21st.
