I've had mine 3 weeks now and my lisp has already calmed down a fair bit. It's still apparent, to me at least but people are no longer asking why i'm talking weird which is a good sign!

How are you feeling a few days in? it's been 12 days since i got my brackets installed and i'm pretty much use to them now. Even eating is getting easier on the tongue, i've not used wax in a few days and my tongue has stopped getting cut, i guess the skin is building up resilience to it!

How long after the extraction did the gaps close up? my main concern is having a big gap in the front of my mouth whilst talking, luckily it's on the lower so not as noticeable. How do you find cleaning them? i don't find it so bad so far but i don't have any wire on yet, just the brackets. I'm sure...

Bottom ones have been taking some getting used to! There's a couple of brackets that are doing a number on my tongue so wax is a must everytime i eat anything at the moment.
