Re: DECEMBER 2014 BUDDIES!!
I'm having mine the day after, on the 9th! Got my date back in July, and been in braces since October 2011. I'm having double jaw surgery to correct my overbite and gummy smile. What are you having done? It's only just really starting to click how soon it is and actually feel real... up until now i...

Re: Desperately seeking emotional support
Hi, I just want to say that I can totally relate to what you are going through. I have all the same issues/problems as you. The only difference is that I think I might be even more extreme as my life has pretty much ground to a halt altogether. I have similar looking jaws to yours, except my maxilla...

Re: Is this a bad result?
Hi, I don't think that comment you were told about needing rib grafts for a better result can be right. If you wanted your maxilla brought forward/down more they could have used distraction osteogenesis techniques. Distraction can be done on the upper as well as the lower jaw. Maybe your surgeon was...

Re: Thoughts please, suitable for NHS surgery?
I can see you now. I have a similar profile to yours and am hoping to get it treated on the NHS. Have you ever wondered if the way you are being treated has anything to do with with what your profile looks like now? If you looked more dominant maybe people would give you more respect. I suppose that...

Re: Discouraged - Multiple Surgeries - Swelling???
So are you saying the stopped up salivary gland was the fault of your surgeon? Do you blame the surgeon for your problems?

Maybe your lip is infected. I would go and see your doctor.

Re: the best european surgeons
Why are you so down on your own country? Maybe a polish surgeon could do a great job if you let them. I don't think it's such a good idea to go with one of these big names, they are just self publicists. Don't trust in a few pictures you see on the internet.

I've just joined the board and can't see your photos yet. How long do you have to wait before you have permission to see pictures?

Re: Thoughts please, suitable for NHS surgery?
I can't see your pictures yet but from what you've said the NHS position sounds harsh.
