Re: New invisalign material - SmartTrack

So with this change, does that mean that the teeth move into the desired position a bit more quickly/predictably for each given tray? (I would assume the trays have to be worn for the same length of time as the previous trays...)

Re: New invisalign material - SmartTrack

How are you finding the new aligners now that you've had them for a couple of days?

Can Invisalign push molars back?

I have a bit of a crowding issue. My teeth don't look too bad (only one flares out, and my two front incisors tip inward), but they're all jam packed together. I have a difficult time flossing because the floss just gets stuck (no matter what type of floss I try, this is always the case). The only s...

Can tooth issues mimic a jaw problem?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experiences on this. Is it ever possible for tooth misalignment to falsely indicate a jaw problem? The reason I'm asking is this - I was told the other day that I had class 2 division 2 malocclusion. I have not had any x-rays taken, and the ...

Re: Adult overjet - in need of an orthodontist or a magician

Plugnickel69 - I had no idea that there was such a branch as functional orthodontics, but it sounds worth looking into. I'm in the Toronto area, so I may need to do some investigating. Poppy123 - I came across your story and pictures, and my teeth are very similar (the only real difference is I only...

Re: Worried about nickel allergy

Would it be possible to get allergy tested? I also have a nickel allergy (my skin would blister to contact for longer than a day - and that was found through allergy testing). The clinic that I went to put liquid metal dots on my back and recorded what my reactions were - the most severe being nicke...

Re: Adult overjet - in need of an orthodontist or a magician

Thanks for your reply. :) I was told that my case isn't so bad that surgery was a requirement, but I was told that in order to move my jaw it would be the only option to do so as bone doesn't move when you're an adult. Is that necessarily true? Or are there devices out there that can help? It may no...

Adult overjet - in need of an orthodontist or a magician?

Hi everyone, I've wanted braces as far back as I can remember, namely because I have upper crowding as well as an overjet. My bottom front teeth are completely occluded by my top teeth, which are tipped back (they make full contact), and one of my lateral incisors shoots outward, while my front inci...
