It would be helpful to take some ibuprofen/acetaminophen before the appointment. I noticed the wire change and the retightening was slightly more uncomfortable then when I initially had braces.

One so far, but I was told it was because of the excess bonding on the tooth that the bracket came off of.

Thank you for this explanation! This makes sense as to why random areas in the mouth near teeth that have visibly moved will feel sore, even after the tooth is in its new position.
