Re: NEW HERE: Bleeding After Extractions

i had premolar extractions too. i had slight bleeding the next day, it eventually stopped 2 days later. So you can just give it more time to heal as long it's not bleeding alot. good luck!

Finally got into braces after delaying for 4 years. had extractions on all first premolars to fix my crossbite and the issue of constantly having to make an effort to make my lips meet. Re: sensitive teeth all of a sudden.

Hey I had this weird pain last night and thought of your post. I was wondering, when you got the pain, were you eating something warm and then drank something cool? That's what happened to me... and it's on my canine. It didn't really feel like sensitivity but more like pain that moved up into the ...

Re: sensitive teeth all of a sudden.

I think when you get braces, you have to recondition yourself. I have never called in about "weird" stuff because I figured it probably isn't really weird at all. It always gets better. If days passed or something was completely unbearable...I guess that would be different. But your teeth...

Re: sensitive teeth all of a sudden.

went to the dentist for consultation. says it's due to my extraction of my premolar causing the gums around the area to recede exposing more tooth. gave me a fluoride treatment on the area and off i go. it cost me 50bucks for the consultation and treatment. burning a huge hole in the pockets. =(

Re: Final meal before braces

i miss eating any food with big bites. everything have to be cut to smaller pieces just makes the food taste different. i had spacers before my braces and i wished i went for a feast before i got my spacers. =(

Re: Braces and Extractions - same day... bring it on!

wow. it's a big thing to do them all on a same day. i had my braces on 2 days after my premolar extractions and it drove me nuts due to the pressure of the braces the first few days and the aching wounds. anyway congratz for getting your braces after so long! =]

Few questions. Is it normal?

I had braces to treat my crossbite and had extractions on all my first premolars to fix what I believe to be bimaxillary protrusion as I constantly have to make an effort to make my lips meet. I have to say I'm glad to have not develop any ulcers yet. So here are my questions. 1. My extraction sites...
