i dont know about the bath / local dentists but i do know that i was reffered via an nhs dentist as i was having lots of headaches, i have an open bite ( only my back teeth meet) so he reffered me to the hospital to have xrays and get fitted with a thing that looked like a retainer i wore at night t...

If your going for less is more, I'd go with grey or blue they stain the least. You could also ask your orthodontist about quick ligs - I've had these for ages now they're little metal twists instead of elastics. More metal but no staining and at least all the same colour. Flushed your lungs? That just sounds plain painful... :s I suffer from stress related gastritis, am really worried ill commit after surgery :S

June2013 buddies? Surgery on upper or both jaws

I'm due to have upper and probably lower jaw surgery in June to fix anterior open bite.
Am starting to get worried about after the op, swelling/ pain, liquid diet and what if I don't like what I see in the mirror!?
Anyway any ones experiences, of both jaws would be greatful to share :)
