Hi! I had mine fitted on Wednesday, I'm getting used to it now too, I'm 27 and did have braces as a teen, but my teeth have definitely got worse since my wisdom teeth came through in my early 20s, so I'm kinda glad in a way!

I've just had my 6 month smiles braces fitted at 27 years old. I've always hated my teeth but they've done most of their moving since I got my wisdom teeth, so I'm glad I don't have them when I was younger to go through it all again now!

I personally didn't have any pain getting mine fitted. It was a tad uncomfortable having my mouth open and in the retractor thingy for such a long time, but that was it. Just thought I'd introduce myself, I had my 6 month smiles braces fitted yesterday morning. Hoping that this forum will provide me with some useful advice and support from fellow adult brace wearers! I'm 27 and have never had braces fitted before, so this is all really new to me!
