Terrible result from surgery

Hi, im a 24 year old male. I had double jaw surgery (bi-max) to correct my underbite/crossbite. The surgery was preformed five days ago, so I still have some swelling. I didn't feel too bad about my underbite, but as I got the treatment for free I thought "why not go for it". Unfortunately...

Re: Getting braces finally at 23!

Hello im 24 and i've had braces for 1.5years, so im kinda in your boat. I have never had anyone but close friends ask questions about them. Stupidly enough I tried to "hide" the fact that I had braces by not smiling much in the start, but now talk and smile flashing the braces like they ar...

You're recovering fast. I see almost no swelling on the 1 week photo. Hope I recover as fast as you after my underbite surgery. Looks great btw

My experience is similiar. I had my lower teeth filed, and the tiny gap closed in a week or so. No pain or increased sensitivity.

Re: Can a 2mm gap close in a month?

Hello, the wire alone will not close the gap but i'd say elastics should be able to close 2mm in a month. And when i say elastics I mean the type that goes "along the wire" if you know what I mean, I would post a picture if I could but I am not "authorized to post url links". I h...
