Debinator, I commend you! While I try to be free spirited the fact is I am a professional business woman (a manager) competing in a mans world. I can't get away with bright colors, but I will think of you as I facilitate meetings and business functions with confidence!

Okay, so update time... Spacers went in today. I listened to the advice and took Tylenol and Aleve before I went. A little achy but otherwise doing great. Braces on next Thursday. Will keep you posted.

I wish the board had a "like" button so I could like every comment of support. It is so encouraging to see so many 40 & 50 something year olds wearing braces and banding together in support. :-)

Darcy, I am a 48 year old business woman going through this as well... I wear a business suit, have a full staff of analysts that work for me, and am constantly in front of people speaking, I completely understand how you feel... Self conscious. just know that you are still you! In this together!!!!!
