I too loved my braces when I first got them on as I could choose different colors every month to match a holiday or my school colors. I thought they looked so cool but now 2.5 years later I cannot wait to get them off next week!

Like Chicken said I got a Waterpik when I got braces it is so much easier than trying to floss with braces.

I remember getting elastics, I hated them. After eating I would always forget to put them back in. It was so uncomfortable wearing them like I was exercising my mouth.

Congratulations on getting your bottoms, have fun for the next 20 months! My braces journey is coming to an end next week!

I remember getting my first elastics and my cheeks were so sore! But like you my cheeks toughened up and they got used to it within a week. Even though I got used to it I still hated those things!

I got mine on when I was 12 and had them off when I was around 14!
