Great progress in 5 months.....I am at 5 months and my progress is no where near yours. I have coils too and rubber bands.....I think the rubber bands hurt the most now.

Same type of thing happens to me too. In my sleep I will snap my mouth shut....and sometimes bite my tongue or lip. Notice I am biting my lip without knowing it....the snapping hurts. Once woke up with blood in my mouth and my lip was bleeding a bit. Never did that before braces. Strange things happ...

I love my waterpik!! I use it after every meal just to 'rinse' my mouth. I cannot believe how much food particles get stuck in the braces and the waterpik washes it all out of my mouth.....love it.
