it is normal for my tongue to feel semi numb?

Not sure if i've burnt my tongue eating or that it's due to surgery

Not really June baby, but had single jaw surgery 3 days ago. first month i lost 5kg, depressing as hell since i was bulking up, struggled to go to the gym since my calorie intake was soo low. Close to my 3rd month of braces and slowly putting weight back on, but its bloody hard work!

its been 3 months since i had a nice juicy steak

also in the same boat, struggling to keep up with my 3.5k calories a day due to braces + 2 bottom molar extraction.

i had my 2nd adjustment two weeks ago (metal top and bottom). I imagined my teeth would be as sensetive as the first time i got braces but it wasnt. Took about 10 minutes to change my ligs and re tighten my wires. Couldnt bite down using my front teeth for 2 days, but wasnt as bad as the first time ...

yea i was interested in seeing the final results aswell.

Since getting extractions ( Both bottom 1st molars) and braces i only chew on the right side, mostly due to the fact that my molars on the left side doesnt even touch anymore :(
