Re: Braces Price Question

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Paid RM5,500 for metal upper and lower, brackets, ligs, spacers and I'm guessing retainers too. That's about USD1700. How the hell do people pay anything over USD3000? D:
Overall, everything in the US costs signi...

Re: What forbidden foods do you miss the most?
Chomping a big juicy burger.
Too painful the first few days after an adjustment.
But then it gets better and I binge on burgers before another adjustment.

Re: Water pik vs regular flossing
How is regular flossing better than WaterPik? I've read some places that Waterpik doesn't go under your gums, etc. But surely flossing can only go so far under the gums before you start to bleed? And surely if you run the waterpik along the gum line you would clean just as effectively as flossing? A...

Re: what happens when extractions create too much space?
I removed 7 teeth:
2 lower premolars
1 upper canine (baby)
1 upper canine (adult)
1 upper incisor (baby)
2 lower wisdom
Ortho said my gaps will close since they're generally small (premolar and baby teeth).

Re: braces and dating.... new to both
Don't worry! I dated a girl with braces cos I thought she was super cute with them. She lost that little bit of that cuteness, imo, when she took em off. But her smile was even better! Now I'm with someone else and just got braces three months ago, and she jokes about ditching me for being a teenage...

Re: Water pik vs regular flossing
The waterpik isnt meant to replace flossing, just another step in the process. I am the minority on here who prefers flossing but I use the little flossers and it takes no time at all.
True, but the molars way at the back require some dexterity, dont they? Wate...
