Hey Everyone! 2 weeks in and life is pretty much back to normal now. I must say that I didn't experience much of what you all have described. The pain was there but was NOT bad (I stand by the statement that spacers were 100% worse). Eating is such a pain bc so much crud gets stuck in your braces......

Ah geeze... the pain is starting. Still not as bad as those effing spacers. LOL

Yes, I already got my wisdom teeth out. As of right now I still feel pretty good. I ate hamburger helper tonight (yes i know how unhealthy that is but it's one of my weaknesses!) without any pain. They're ON! The appointment was a breeze. My braces feel crazy... like little spikes poking out of my teeth and things feel very tight (no pain yet). I chose blue ligatures to match my halloween costume. I say go big or go home! I'll post pictures here in a bit. I kind of hate how much more crooked ...

Yah, I'm getting just top next week because I have a "deep" bite and my big ol top teeth would hit the brackets on the bottom if we put them on now. We're going to open up my bite then in a few months I'll get the bottom row.

I bet your teeth look fantastic. It's 'nice' to hear that others have teeth dreams. I have teeth dreams even before I started on this orthodontic journey. Good luck to you and enjoy your new smile! :-)
