Re: Wisdom teeth removal , anybody?

I don't know about your question. but don't be terrified. are your wisdom teeth impacted? mine were not. the worst thing for me was the blood everywhere in my mouth for the first hours after the removal. i discovered that if i kept the gauze? a little longer, it won't be much of a problem. i was jus...

Re: excess glue

Thank you Sirwired, Chichi, and Roxie. I appreciate it :) I thought it might be silently hurting my gums or something  but it's not bothering me at all. Happy it's not urgent.. will tell my ortho about it at my next adjustment.

Re: Totally overwhelmed by my braces consult.

Hi. i am sorry your consultation was tough. My only advice would be, if you are totally against surgery, see another ortho. maybe someone else would have a better treatment plan that you feel more comfortable with :?:

Re: is it normal for ortho to not put a ligature on a bracke

I have one tooth that didn't get a ligature till the 2nd or maybe 3rd adjustment, can't exactly remember. that tooth had a tooth that went behind it.. when the other tooth moved in line, the tooth that didn't have a ligature got one  probably not a mistake.

Re: Proxy brush

Thank you everyone for the different perspectives. I think I will start using them again just to check if my regular brush misses stuff under the wires! i still don't have any power chains or interesting additions like some of you, so will wait and see :D

Proxy brush

Hi. i was very committed to using the proxy brush at the beginning of treatment. but after a while it just felt it is not doing anything besides it's harsh to the gums and mine are a bit receded so.. maybe that's just an excuse not to use it  but really it doesn't feel like it actually removes...

Re: My beloved diastema - aka I love my gap tooth!

Hi :) Well, you are not alone... i was kind of sad i will be saying goodbye to my crossbite which, i thought, would mean saying goodbye to the different way my jaw looks. although the shift of my bottom jaw used to kind of bother me as a teenager, (i didn't really hate it but it was just unnatural l...
