I am more than one year post op. to underbite double jaw surgery , my lower lip feels really strange , i think i got numb patches or but if i touch i feel the area though it really gets hard and stiff time to time . to everybody who been through this surgery please explain how did your recovery go ...

Divelizard , i did not have had genioplasty though my chin and lower lip was stiff and felt like frozen , it is better than before but not completely , which kind of oil you use for massaging and any improvements with it ? all the best

@leon .already done that. my surgeon does not have any clue about the tightness that is bothering me . i am trying to reach out another surgeon for my concerns which still i am not able to find

i am on 7 months post op. now and i could feel the screws through my gums? i had asked about this to my surgeon last time but he said it's nothing to worry about.but i do think it could lead to complications later,does any of you have experienced this or have a proper answer to what should i do next...

Thanks a lot for reply @Mylovedtheeth .yes definatly getting used to the new look been kind of hard .but i also feel i have this slight overbite which always makes me doubt on this surgery,about the teeth not all of them touch,mostly the frontal for teeth of upper jaw
