Welcome aboard! I am 42 and second time in braces from TMJD. I am over 2 years in them on the top and starting on the bottoms to bring up molars.

I also have TMJD, or as some call TMD. I have had it for 7 years. I have been wearing a GNM Orthotic for 4 years. Been doing pretty good. Jaw pain decreased,headaches, tingles, eye pain, hip issues (yes it is a whole body connection) and so many more issues I had. I would not go to an Ortho for this...

My Old Dentist wanted me in Braces then Invisaline but this is a no no for someone who has TMJD. And why would I pay for 2 types?? he just wanted more money from me!! Ugg.

I was 37. It was supposed to help with my TMJD issue but only made it worse. I am now waiting to attempt it again... Sometime this year... Good Lord help me! LOL
